Taif Rose absolute (no other roses in this edp), on an amber bed of styrax absolute and Portuguese labdanum, I have also featured a very lavish amount of Mysore sandalwood in this blend. As an attar, I added cardamon and myrrh, however the edp is more about the rose and her woody paramours.

It is a close companion to Embers, with 2 variations:- Taif rose inclusion, as well as having a different amber base to my usual accord that uses benzoin. Taif Rose is really perfume for the heart and soul, a perfume that is as perfectly right during prayers, in meditation, in sacred spaces, as it is in the arms of the beloved.
